You Are My Little Songbook

Want to rock out on "Little Liza Jane," just like Elizabeth Mitchell did with Daniel and Storey on You Are My LIttle Bird? (Handclaps optional.)

Well now you can -- sort of -- as Mitchell has put together chords and lyrics for 9 of the tracks off that stellar CD and matched them with lovely drawings from Ida Pearle (who did the artwork for the album).

Get the songbook here. Songbooks for the other Mitchell CDs (and perhaps more songs off this CD) are in the works.

Oh yay! She has the perfect stuff for a hootenanny. Her CD feels like it was recorded in our living room. My 5-year-old always gets her harmonica to play along with Storey on "Peace Like a River." Wish I could play guitar just as well. Hey, maybe I'll start playing along, too.

This is super fabulous! We will be downloading and breaking out the instruments.... Can she get ANY cooler? Only if she plays in SF. And then only if she comes over to my house for coffee.
